La Union Provides Continuous Crisis Situation Aids

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) is committed to promote the welfare of the disadvantaged sector especially the sick and the needy. It is in this context that the PGLU has intensified its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program specifically for our Kaprobinsiaan who are undergoing medical procedures such as chemotherapy and hemodialysis and those who are in crisis due to the death of their loved ones.

𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗢𝗙𝗪𝘀, 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗬 𝗡𝗔 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗬𝗔

Dahil sa pagtutulungan ng Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) at ng private sector partners, patuloy na nabibigyang prayoridad ang mga outbound Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na mabigyan ng naayon na CoViD-19 Vaccine brand, dahil ito ang isa sa mga specific requirement ng kanilang mga employer sa labas ng bansa.
Kahapon lamang, ika-28 ng Hulyo, 2021, nag-umpisa na ang 2nd batch ng pagbabakuna sa mga outbound OFWs sa Lorma Medical Center, City of San Fernando, La Union. Ayon sa IATF-EID Resolution No. 117, ang mga outbound OFWs na mayroon nang iskedyul ng deployment sa loob ng susunod na apat na buwan, ay pinapayagan nang mabakunahan.
Sa kasalukuyan, 42 outbound OFWs na ang nabakunahan ng PGLU sa Lorma Vaccination Site.
Sa patuloy na pakikipag-ugnayan ng PGLU sa mga pribadong sektor, mas napapabilis ang pag-roll out ng mga bakuna sa probinsya at nabibigyan ng pag-asa ang mga OFWs na makabalik sa bansang kanilang pinagtra-trabahuan.
As of 10AM, July 29, 2021 121,111 na ang nabakunahan sa probinsya ng La Union. 85,578 ang nakatanggap na ng kanilang first dose at 46,932 na ang nakakumpleto ng kanilang bakuna laban sa CoViD-19.
Hangarin ni Gov. Pacoy Ortega na mabigyang proteksyon ang bawat Kaprobinsiaan laban sa CoViD-19.
Naniniwala ang PGLU na muli tayong babangon bilang isang mas matatag na probinsya, kapag #BakunaMuna.

To widen the knowledge and to adopt to the new procedures of Real Property Taxation transactions in accordance with the law, the Office of the Provincial Assessor (OPAss) conducted a one-day training seminar to the 19 Municipal Assessor Offices with 88 participants through video conferencing on July 29, 2021.
