PESO – LU JOINS OFW FAMILY DAY

Overseas Filipino Workers Family Circle and Leaders from La Union together with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration - Regional Office I (OWWA-RO I) OIC Mr. Gerardo C. Rimorin, Provincial Migrant Desk Officer Ms. Charito C. Dator, and Municipal Migrant Desk Officers join OWWA – RO I in the opening program of the Overseas Filipino Workers Family Day 2019 on December 7, 2019 at Robinson’s Place, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
Migrants Desk Officer Ms. Charito C. Dator together with her staff and more than 200 OFW and their family members from the Province of La Union joined the annual celebration of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Family Day on December 7, 2019 at Robinson’s Place, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
The event, spearheaded by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Office I (OWWA RO-1), was participated in by the OFW circle and family members from Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
The activity displayed the talent and teamwork of each province through the competition in Mr. and Ms. OWWA 2019, dance competition and Your Face Sounds Familiar. The Province of La Union won in the Your Face Sounds Familiar Competition while the Province of Pangasinan bagged the Mr. and Ms. OWWA 2019.
The institutional activity is an opportunity for OFWs and their family members to gather in one venue during the Christmas season to strengthen unity among the Overseas Filipino Workers Family Circles in Region 1.
