Vision

The Office of the Provincial Administrator envisions to be the leading department of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) in promoting high quality, responsive, accountable, transparent, principled and transformative leadership; in creating synergy in all offices and continually reinforce the culture of quality and competence in local governance through leading leaders to leadership.

Mission

  • Strengthening and upholding synergy in the PGLU by providing efficient and effective coordination, hands-on administrative support to all offices for and topnotch governance management.
  • Ensuring that all systems, policies and programs are aligned with and in accordance with PGLU Principles, Vision and Mission, Goals and Objectives by regular monitoring and evaluating performance, developing better systems and procedures of the various provincial government offices for peak productivity and service.
  • Providing high standards of public service with spirituality in the workplace, pilot testing of innovative programs and projects for the partner-people especially the marginalized sector of society and constantly improving the efficiency, effectiveness, extent and impact of continuing projects to eradicate extreme poverty and hopelessness.
  • Reducing the number of victims of natural and man-made calamities, disasters and crises by ensuring the highest standard of capability and preparedness through sustained technical and institutional capability, more aggressive promotion of synergy among all the stakeholders and building resiliency and self-reliance of communities to disasters and crises situations.
  • Promoting sustained excellence and innovation in local governance and partnership among civil society organizations, private sector and government agencies at the local, national/regional/provincial and global levels to improve quality of life.
