The Office of the Provincial Governor - Information and Communication Technology Unit (OPG-ICTU) conducted three end-users training vis-a-vis three new in-house developed systems for the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) as part of the first 100-days commitment of the Governor Raphaelle Veronica โ€œRafyโ€ Ortega-David's commitment for her P.U.S.O. Agenda.

The first system is the Document Tracking System designed to track, file, retrieve, and monitor documents such as memorandums, communication letters, and financial documents. On September 29, 2022, ICTU held end-user training for the aforementioned system on the 4th Floor, LUPOS Building, Barangay Sevilla, San Fernando City, and La Union. On October 10, the launching of the said system commenced.

The second system was PGLU Workspace which is a personnel monitoring tool that will allow PGLU employees to fill out Clearance, Personal Locator Slip, and Leave applications online. Employees can also use the system's collaboration tools to create more effective and efficient deliverables. ICTU held video conferencing end-user training for the aforementioned system on October 7, 2022.

Lastly, the Customer Feedback and Complaints System is designed to collect feedback from customers on the quality of service received at a specific PGLU Office. This eliminates the use of paper in feedback collection and automates the consolidation of customer feedback. This will be held on October 7, 2022, at the BAC Conference, Provincial Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The PGLU shall remain steadfast to the rapidly evolving digital transformation that can be utilized to provide internal efficiency and create high-quality services to promote #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan for the benefit of all kaprobinsiaan.
