In a joint Oath Taking Ceremony, elected Mayor Joy Pinzon-Merin of Bangar, La Union and Mayor Gary Pinzon Luna, La Union both emphasized on the need to uphold public trust through quality service delivery to the people on June 25, 2022 at Siblings Resort, Brgy. Cadapli, Bangar La Union.
โThank you all for being great partners for progress as we serve our people and thank you for being one with me in my passion. As they say, promises are meant to be broken. But, one thing is for sure, and I have already said this before, I will never betray your trust. My heart to serve remains,โ emphasized Mayor Joy in her speech.
Meanwhile, Mayor Gary highlighted, "I would like to reiterate and emphasize that the trust and confidence of our people towards us leaders should not be wasted. Instead, we shall give our utmost best that they truly deserve. We should always keep in mind that we are in the position because they believe in our capacity to lead and serve as a true servant for all.โ
Elected and re-lected Bangar officials who also took their oath were Vice Mayor Virgelio M. Dabalos and Sangguniang Bayan Members (SBMs) Wilfredo R. Mosuela, Astaire Vance Iedritz P. Pinzon, Rogelio F. Coloma, Faye Maena B. Makiling, Cedric John S. De Castro, Emmanuel A. Mantilla, Anthony J. Taguiam and Anacleto L. Yukee.
Further, Luna officials who took oath were Vice Mayor Romeo L. Resurreccion and SBMs Decson C. Galvez, Imee V. Villa, Zaldy M. Ramirez, Beverly M. Kim, Albino N. Reyes, Jr., Robert Jeffrey N. Nobleza, and Alex A. Nuval.
Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III administered their oath while present to witness the ceremony were incoming Governor Rafy Ortega-David, outgoing First District House of Representative Pablo Ortega, newly elected First District House of Representative Paolo Ortega, and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Chary Nisce, Gerard Ostrea, and Jennifer Mosuela-Fernandez.
Through competent public service delivery while upholding public trust, the Municipalities of Bangar and Luna ensure alignment to the provincial government towards a #StrongerLaUnion.
