Mayor Wendy Joy Buquing took her oath of office as Mayor of the Municipality of Sudipen today, June 22, 2022. Governor Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III officiated Buquing's oath-taking at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Melvin Macusi joined the mayor in the oath-taking and, together with the Municipality's eight councilors, including Bery Yadao, Mandy Adviento, Rosemarie Belisoa, Tita Mostoles, Roel Guanzon, Noly Cong-O, Joebet Dee and Marcelina Leonen.
Incoming Governor Rafy Ortega-David and Congressman Paolo Ortega, La Union's 1st District Representative, and family members of the new officials were also present to witness the said event.
Building an inclusive society and fostering community bonds is what the Province of La Union upholds. Indeed, PGLU is one with Sudipen towards achieving a united La Union, where everyone is together and not apart from each other.
