Municipal Mayor Mayor Wailan, formally took his oath of office before Governor Francisco Emmanuel โ€œPacoyโ€ R. Ortega III on June 27, 2022 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Vice Mayor-elect Monico Oriente, Jr. joined the mayor in the oath-taking, and the eight councilors, including Jojo Ominga, William Agtarap, Editha Millares, Claudio Galos, Jr., Ramil Sansano, Bernard Pepe, Olympio Millares, and Roxanne Dangle-Arquero.

Present to witness the oath-taking were incoming Governor Rafy Ortega-David, outgoing First District House of Representative Pablo Ortega, and newly elected First District House of Representative Paolo Ortega.

The sustained and growing commitment of the Provincial Government of La Union to its allies and partners bolsters a solidly united province where people work together across boundaries, coming together as one.
