Representing the bravery and fortitude of the Coast Guards of La Union, CG PO1 Julius Guray won the Non-Officer of the Year Award during the 121st Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Anniversary. Guray is the Commander of the Coast Guard Sub-Station of Luna, La Union.
Guray winning the highest award given to a PCG Non-officer holds significant relevance and recognition among our Kaprobinsiaan, especially with the nature of his work as a coast guard. According to Guray, this award motivates not only him but also his colleagues to be dedicated in upholding their duties, and putting the coast guard services first and foremost for the welfare of the Kaprobinsiaan.
The Provincial Government of La Union, led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David, congratulates CG PO1 Guray for his gallant determination in making sure that the people of La Union are protected and safe at all costs.
His achievement is a representation of PGLU and Gov. Rafy โs aimโ to embody the P.U.S.O. Agenda, specifically, a people-oriented governance.
