The Clean Coasts Project in La Union, Inc initiated a poster making contest among the youths residing in three (3) coastal project areas of the province to showcase their talent and creativity as well as to provide them an avenue to express their views and opinions on the theme โ€œNadalus a baybay, Nasalun-at nga ili.โ€

A total of 26 youths actively participated in the activity. Due to travel restrictions and following the COVID-19 health protocols, the competition was held online and two categories were organized. Category A is for ages 13-17 years old and category B is for the ages 18-22 years old. Among the participants, the winner in Category A was from Brgy. Dalumpinas Oeste, City of San Fernando in the person of Ms. Mhelanie A. Batuhan, 14 years old and the winner in Category B is Ms. Edhelen Joy G. Antalan, 18 year-old resident of Brgy. Payocpoc Sur, Bauang.

The winners received cash prizes and certificates. Representatives from the JVOFI presented the awards to the winners.
