Elected and re-elected officials from Pugo, La Union headed by Mayor Kurt Martin sworn into office on June 29, 2022 at the Pugo Municipal Covered Court.
Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III administered the oath of the new municipal mayor along with Vice Mayor Bryan Balloguing and Sangguniang Bayan members including Kojak Basallo, Jonnel Dacpano, Noli Mapalo, Raul Ramirez, Roger Labayo, Romulo Tavares, Armand Malamion, and Matet Baodilla-Lales.
As the outgoing governor of the province, Gov. Pacoy gave gratitude to both outgoing and incoming municipal officials for their support and trust in the transformative governance he championed during his term. He also requested them to show the same support to the incoming Provincial Administration.
Governor-elect Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David was also present to congratulate and show support to the newly elected leaders of Pugo. She reminded them to be committed in their sworn duties as public servants as they owe their position to the people of Pugo whom they will be serving for the next three years.
The Provincial Government of La Union and Pugo share the same vision for the kaprobinsiaan and with their strong partnership, #StrongerLaUnion continues to be a reality.
