Bacnotan, La Union's elected and re-elected officials were formally installed in position as they took their oath of office for the term 2022-2025 on June 28, 2022 at the municipal covered court.
Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III officiated the oath taking of all the officials led by Mayor Mayor Divina C. Fontanilla and Vice Mayor Francisco Angelito L. Fontanilla. Likewise, Sangguniang Bayan Members including Michael U. Fontanilla, Jane A. Gonzales, Edijer F. Valmonte, Tomas Joaquin B. Ortega, Olga Jane C. Panelo, Florante C. Abad, Franklin N. Almodovar, and Federico R. Corpuz.
Incoming La Union Governor Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David and 1st District Congressman-elect were also present to witness the said event.
True to the municipal's battle cry, "Hataw Bacnotan", LGU Bacnotan continues to be on top with the continued support of the Provincial Government of La Union as they both move hand-in-hand in building a #StrongerLaUnion for all Bacnotanean and Kaprobinsiaan.
