Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David and the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), together with the Bureau of Fire Protection, the City of San Fernando Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), and the Barangay Sevilla Council headed by Kap Mercy Sulmarin, readily provided assistance to kaprobinsiaan affected by a fire incident in Barangay Sevilla, City of San Fernando, August 18, 2022.
Gov. Rafy directed Executive Assistant Francisco Roberto Ortega and the Provincial DRRMO to immediately provide emergency kits to the affected five individuals and one family. Food and shelter were also provided as initial help. While the area and victims are being monitored tonight, Gov. Rafy also ordered that further assistance be provided to those affected tomorrow.
