In a heartwarming gesture to foster employees’ well-being by spreading love within the workplace, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), through the Office of the Provincial Administrator, organized a special Valentine's Day celebration for employees dubbed as Workplace Lovefest on February 14, 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Lobby.

PGLU employees were encouraged to participate in various activities including wearing color-coded shirts symbolizing their relationship status. A Love Wall was also prepared where employees could express their affection and gratitude by penning heartfelt messages for colleagues, friends, or loved ones. Roses were also distributed to department heads and randomly selected employees to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

The Workplace Lovefest manifests PGLU and Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David's proactive approach to nurture a supportive and uplifting workplace culture in the Provincial Capitol. By prioritizing employee happiness and mental wellness, the PGLU sets a standard for organizations in creating a working environment where employees can thrive professionally and personally.

With the success of the Workplace Lovefest, the PGLU reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing the holistic well-being of its employees, ensuring that love and positivity continue to resonate within its corridors long after Valentine's Day has passed.
