TWG-Provincial Solid Waste Management Board Conducts 1st Quarterly Meeting

The Technical Working Group of the Provincial Solid Waste Management Board (TWG-PSWMB) of the Province of La Union convenes for its 1st Quarterly Meeting on March 5, 2020 at the Cong. Eriguel Hall, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The group discussed the amendment of the Plastic Regulation Ordinance; issues and concerns of the District Hospitals on Solid Waste and Wastewater Management; and revisited the Guidelines on Sustainable and Green Consumption of Good in Provincial Government of La Union. Engr. Ashley Antonio of Department of Health-Region 1 discussed the proper color-coding of waste bins and number of required waste bins in hospitals as well as the accredited desludging service providers for proper wastewater management in La Union.
