Establishing stronger partnership in expanding job opportunities and skills training, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Director (PD) Elpidio D. Mamaril, Jr. visited the La Union Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on August 18, 2021 to coordinate and promote the TESDAโs Online World Cafรฉ of Opportunities (WCO) through Job Linkaging and Network Services (joLiNS).
For this yearโs Online WCO, TESDA Region I identified construction, agriculture and tourism sector alumni/graduates as their priority participants.
Accompanying PD Mamaril were TESDA Administrative Officer V Criselda M. Gugol and TESDA Specialist I Almina Bernadette M. Panis. They were given a brief orientation and accessibility walkthrough by Provincial PESO Manager Charito C. Dator and Labor and Employment Officer II Rowell B. Timoteo of the Find Jobs La Union Employment Portal.
Director Mamaril commended the Provincial Government of La Union under the leadership of Gov. Pacoy for the initiative of creating employment facilitation services through digital platform. โIt is a very nice and innovative online job platform. A big help to our Job Linkaging and Network Services (joLiNS) and to help facilitate employment of TVET Graduates. We are very grateful to have the PGLU through the PESO as the partner in the promotion and advocacy of Technical Education and Skills Development Program,โ he said.
The PGLU continues to innovate and build partnerships for greater employment opportunities for kaprobinsiaan that will ultimately help build a #StrongerLaUnion.
