SP EMPLOYEES UNDERGO ORIENTATION ON PGLU PROCEDURES

Mr. Donato A. Rimando, Secretary to the Sanggunian, expresses his gratitude to the Resource Speakers for sharing their time and knowledge during the orientation of Sangguniang Panlalawigan staff on July 19, 2019 at the Cong. Franny Eriguel Hall, 3rd Basement, Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. He likewise commended the SP staff for actively participating in the said orientation saying that it is proof of their commitment to serve and do their duties as support staff of the 22nd Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
To give an update on financial, administrative and personnel procedures of the Provincial Government of La Union, current and newly appointed Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) staff underwent an orientation program to prepare them for their work in the 22nd Sangguniang Panlalawigan on July 19, 2019 at the Cong. Franny Eriguel Hall, 3rd Basement, Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In the orientation, new staff were introduced to the different procedures vital in performing their roles as support group. The newly elected SP Members, incumbent and returning SP staff were updated as well on the new steps in the procedures particularly on financial processes and the implementation of the recently signed expanded maternity leave law.
The orientation was led by Mr. Donato A. Rimando, Secretary to the Sanggunian and Ms. Jane T. Flores, Board Secretary V of the same office.
Invited as resource-speakers for the orientation were Provincial Budget Officer Catherine E. Franco; Provincial Accountant Atty. Albert F. Padilla; OIC-Provincial Treasurer Bernabe C. Dumaguin; Assistant Provincial Treasurer Janet D. Molina; Supervising Administrative Officer of the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) Evangeline S. Mendoza; and Administrative Officer IV of HRMU Zenaida S. Aspiras.
