Senior Citizen IP Rights Advocate Awarded One of 2023 Sampung Ulirang Nakatatanda Awardees

Senior Citizen Leader Gregorio Orine, a kaprobinsiaan from Pugo, La Union was named one of the 2023 Sampung Ulirang Nakatatanda Awardees for his invaluable contributions to promoting and upholding the rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Tatay Greg was the First President of the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Society (IPCS) of La Union and was part of the formation of the Indigenous Political Structure of the Bago Tribe.

The national distinction was conferred by the Coalition of Services of the Elderly on October 8, 2023. Participating in #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan and in nation-building, Tatay Greg is an epitome of dedication to inclusivity and civic-mindedness.
