The venue was decorated with colorful balloons to entice the children as they waited for their turn in getting the jab. They were also given treats after as a reward for their bravery in getting the shot.

NDH Chief Nurse Ms. Joy Lictan gave an orientation regarding myths and facts about CoViD-19 vaccine. She even told the children that they became heroes to others by getting their vaccine for they are protecting themselves from severe covid and helping the community reach herd immunity. Ms. Lictan said this is one way of encouraging kids to get vaccinated against CoViD-19 in preparation for the possible start of face-to-face classes. She urged other parents to let their children get the jab, saying the vaccine provides protection from a severe case of the disease.

NDH started their pediatric vaccination on February 17, 2022 and as of March 7, 2022 a total of 86 children already got their Pfizer jab.

CoVid-19 vaccines continue to offer the protection against severe infection and deaths while we adhere to the minimum public health standards and safety.
