Representatives from UPLB-CNFR pay courtesy visit to Gov. Rafy

The University of the Philippines- Los Banos, College of Forestry and Natural Resources (UPLB-CFNR) led by Dr. Juan M. Pulhin and Dr. Rex Victor Cruz, paid a courtesy call to Governor Rafy on August 9, 2022 at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The team presented the Integration of Traditional and Modern Bioproduction System for a Sustainable and Resilient Future Under Climate and Ecosystems Changes (ITMoB) and Institutionalization of Guidelines on Watershed Integrated Area Land Use Planning Towards Resiliency (WILUP) to Gov. Rafy and to the Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO). As a response, Gov. Rafy guaranteed her support to the said projects.
ITMoB and WILUP that are proposed to be implemented in Baroro Watershed will be covering the municipalities of San Gabriel, Bagulin, San Juan, Bacnotan, Santol and the City of San Fernando.
With #LaUnionProbinsyanihan, the PGLU shall continue to forge stronger partnerships with the academe for improved watershed governance while building a Stronger La Union, a Province worth living in.
