Nutritionist Dietician Alitha Directo of Balaoan District Hospital (BLDH) conducts an advocacy and information education campaign about proper nutrition and weight management at the BLDH Outpatient Department, Bacnotan, La Union on July 29, 2019. She encouraged everyone to advocate and realize the importance of healthy diet, increased physical activity and reduced sedentary behavior to prevent lifestyle diseases.
The activity was conducted in celebration of National Nutrition Month and in support of the province's mission of a Healthy La Union, Happy La Union by 2022.
