To add to the existing Vaccination Sites in La Union, the Lorma Medical Center is now open to cater to pediatric population aged 12 to 17 years old. With the assistance of the Provincial Government of La Union Vaccination Team, a total of 210 individuals were inoculated on its opening day on November 5, 2021.
The hospital, mainly inoculating pediatric with comorbidities, strictly implements the post vaccination monitoring in the designated area. The minorโs parent or guardian is also required to accompany the vaccinee and sign the consent form.
Registration for before proceeding to the site is required and they do not accept walk-ins. Kaprobinsiaan may register in the link: bit.ly/LormaPediaVaccination to get an appointment. A confirmation text message will be sent for the approved schedule.
As of November 7, 2021, a total of 5,069 minors aged 12 to 17 years old have received their first dose in La Union wherein 620 of them have comorbidities while 4,449 belong to the rest of pediatric population.
