PGLU Recognizes LGUs in NAPANAM Implementation

The Provincial Government of La Union awarded QR Scanning desktop units to the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Bangar, Caba, and San Gabriel as a token of appreciation for their implementation of the NAPANAM Contact Tracing System in their designated LGUs on March 22-25, 2021 at the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) Office, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In appreciation of the efforts of the component Local Government Units (LGUs) of La Union in its contact-tracing efforts during this pandemic, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) awarded the Top 3 Most Effective LGU in implementing the NAPANAM Contact Tracing Project in their respective areas through video conferencing on March 18, 2021.
A qualifying criteria was set to identify LGUs who have excelled in the management of the Napanam Project. Those recognized received a QR Scanning Desktop Unit.
The Municipality of San Gabriel received the “NAPANAM Most Active LGU Award,” with a total of 8,029 (136%) verified and approved constituents based on 30% of its 18,172 population; and a total of 29 approved QR Scanning Point (QSPs).
The Municipality of Caba received the “NAPANAM TOP LGU Verifier Award,” wherein they have the most verified and approved constituents with a total of 12,033 (181%) based on 30% of its 22,039 population.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Bangar received the “NAPANAM Most Active QSPs Award,” with a total of 27 approved and active QSPs.
The activity was spearheaded by the Information and Communications Technology Unit under the Office of the Provincial Governor.
With the help of the NAPANAM Team of the different LGUs, the Province of La Union remains strong and resilient in its contact tracing activities which is a vital part in averting the spread of CoViD-19.
