PGLU ORIENTS LA UNION NAPANAM QR SCANNING POINTS

As part of the continuing operations on CoViD-19 Contact Tracing System in the Province of La Union, the Provincial Government of La Union through the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) strengthen its 20 component Local Government Units (LGUs) in adopting the NAPANAM System.

In accordance to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 1122-2020, the NAPANAM team of the ICTU conducted an orientation on how to use the QR Scanning Point (QSP) feature of the said system to the 20 LGUs of La Union on February 10-24, 2021, as part of the contact tracing operation in the continuous effort of the PGLU to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

QSP are to be installed in establishments, offices, tourist spots, and associations registered in the Province of La Union. This will serve as a logbook or Health Declaration Form (HDF) of the establishments or buildings for their client and customer as the system has its own built-in virtual HDF.

Together with the appointed NAPANAM Focal Person of the different LGUs, a total of 315 participants attended the said orientation. This consists of different business establishment’s owners and representatives of the different associations and sectors existing in the province, as they are the one who will serve as a scanner of the QR Pass IDs of an individual entering their premises.

Online registration for NAPANAM QSP is open to every existing establishments in La Union, through the link: napanam.launion.gov.ph/regqsp.
