PGLU - LUPJ's Support to NICT Month Celeb, Recognized; Exhibits La Union PROBINSYAnihan

As an appreciation to the support of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) during the 2023 National Information and Communications Technology Month Celebration, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Regional Office 1 has recognized the PGLU during the recently-concluded culmination program at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Open University System DMMMSU-OUS Compound, City of San Fernando, La Union on June 27, 2023.
The program was attended by their Provincial Directors, Regional Director and representative from different agencies including the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Radyo Pilipinas, Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), La Union Provincial Jail (LUPJ) among others.
The month-long accomplishments of DICT-ROI was also shared through an audio-visual presentation and among which is the conduct of Digital Literacy Training for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and to the personnel of the La Union Provincial Jail (LUPJ) which took place on June 7, 2023.
The highlight of the program includes the conferment of Plaques and Certificates of Recognition to the different partner agencies including PGLU and LUPJ in recognition to their utmost support in the different initiatives and activities for the National ICT Month whilst promoting the theme “Connecting Communities, Enriching Lives, Forging a Digital Future for the Philippines".
The said gathering truly fostered La Union PROBINSYAnihan enjoining different government agencies to take part in the development and growth of Information and Communications Technology which is regarded as a powerful tool towards achieving digital transformation and exceptional delivery of quality public service in the province.
