PGLU Job Application Website Launched

The Provincial Government of La Union launches its own Online Job Application System called “PGLU Careers” on May 15, 2019 spearheaded by the Software Development Section of Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU), and in coordination of the Human Resource and Management Unit (HRMU).
Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) personnel gives a short overview and demonstration on how to use, navigate, post jobs opportunities, and monitor the “PGLU Careers” system to Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) after the deployment on May 15, 2019 at the Human Resource and Management Office, 2nd Flr., Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The Provincial Government of La Union headed by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III through the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU), in coordination with the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU), spearheaded the launching of Online Job Application System for PGLU dubbed as “PGLU Careers” on May 15, 2019.
The PGLU Careers can be accessed through the link https://careers.launion.gov.ph/ where anyone can register for free. It is primarily focused on the posting and managing job vacancies in the different offices, hospitals and units under the PGLU. This will provide assistance to all job seekers to search for job opportunities and be able to apply online.
The implementation of the Online Job Application will hasten the screening process of applicants, and will cater extensive clients around La Union which is one of the requirements under the Recruitment, Selection, and Placement procedures of the HRMU.
The system is another step closer in creating a sustainable and inclusive development that improves the quality of lives of the people of La Union.
