PGLU GEARS GRADUATES FOR EMPLOYABILITY

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) under the leadership of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David, and through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) provided government-related services to the Graduating Students of LORMA Colleges during the 3rd session of the Career Catalyst: Empower Your Employability Membership and Opportunities Program on May 30, 2024 at LORMA Campus, Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The event was initiated by LORMA - Guidance and Counseling Office in partnership with PESO-La Union. Rowell B. Timoteo, Labor and Employment Officer III; Carlo P. Mondina, Administrative Assistant II; and Jeffry G. Dumaguin, Administrative Aide III of PESO-La Union assisted the college graduating students by providing job market information, promoting Find Jobs La Union Employment Portal, and providing job vacancy postings.

PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and Social Security System representatives were also present to provide government-related services to students and educate them about membership, registration process, health insurance coverage, and other benefits.

The PGLU continues to collaborate and enjoin stakeholders in La Union PROBINSYANihan in promoting employability, skills development and jobs generation while empowering the youth sector of the province
