MID-PANDEMIC SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT. Amidst its bold fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Provincial Government of La Union remains committed on environmental protection and conservation. To enable its component Local Government Units (LGUs) in their solid waste management amidst the pandemic, the PGLU donated garbage collection trucks to Naguilian, Bauang, Agoo, Balaoan and Bangar LGUs during a simple turn-over ceremony on May 13 and 14, 2020. These donations were the LGUs' prize as winners in the PGLU's inter-LGU competition, "Cleanest, Safest and Greenest LGUs" in the previous years.
