PGLU Donates Patrol Motor Vehicles to LUPPO and SFC Police

Pacoy turns over vehicles to the Philippine National Police City of San Fernando and La Union Police Provincial Office on June 25, 2018 at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The vehicles are to be used for a more extensive safety and security in the province.
The Provincial Government of La Union, through the leadership of Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III, recently donated patrol motor vehicles to the La Union Provincial Police Office (LUPPO) and the San Fernando City Police Station (SFC Police).
LUPPO, headed by Acting Provincial Director PSSUPT Ricardo G. Layug, Jr., and SFC Police headed by PSUPT John K. Guiagui, received the new patrol vehicles in behalf of their respective offices last June 18, 2018 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union. These vehicles were donated serve as a medium in maintaining peace, order and internal security in the province as well as to provide immediate help or rescue in times of disaster.
Assisted by the Provincial General Services Office, headed by Ms. Emelda P. Pascual, a simple turn-over ceremony was conducted where the governor delivered his message on the importance of this endeavor for the province. Afterwards, PSSUPT Layug, Jr. and PSUPT Guiagui were invited by the Governor to sign with him the Deeds of Conditional Donation. Provincial Accountant, Atty. Albert F. Padilla, one of the church leaders of Jesus Reigns Ministry, graced the occasion wherein he offered a thanksgiving prayer and blessed the vehicles.
Other PGLU offices which were also recipients of new vehicles include the Office of the Provincial Administrator, Office of the Governor-Environment and Natural Resources Division, Office of the Provincial Treasurer and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
