PGLU Conducts Environmental Reconnaissance

The Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) together with the local government unit of San Juan and Multi-Sectoral Governance Council Adviser for Environment, Mr. Ramon “Toby” Tamayo conduct an environmental reconnaissance on April 27, 2021 at Brgy. Dasay and Nagsabaran, San Juan, La Union.
Part of PGLU’s Earth Day celebration, the activity aimed to assess the status of watershed areas and suggest methods on how to restore and rehabilitate these areas to address water shortages in the locality. Mr. Tamayo discussed and emphasized to the community the need to plant more native trees and discourage the planting of invasive species of trees.
