Resource Speakers, Ms. Marilou D. Reyes and Mr. Edmund B. Talle, both Certified Procurement Specialist Consultants, discuss the salient features of The Philippine Government Procurement Law and serve as guides in drafting the Customized Provincial Procurement Operations Manual (CPPOM) during the Training-Workshop on the Development of CPPOM on August 13 to 17, 2018 at Eurotel, Baguio City.
The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) completed the Training-Workshop on the development of Customized Provincial Procurement Operations Manual (CPPOM) under the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on August 13 to 17, 2018 at Eurotel, Baguio City.
Said training was participated in by BAC members from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and Region I 10 came from PGLU.
At the end of the training, PGLU BAC members are expected to ensure standard and uniform application of rules and regulations in all stages of the procurement process at all levels of Provincial Government. They are also enjoined to facilitate the procurement of programs, activities and projects efficiently, effectively and in the most economical manner and ensure increased Transparency and Accountability across all levels.
The BAC of PGLU submitted its CPPOM to the DILG as their final output after the course.
