PGLU At Your Service Mobilizes in San Fernando-Bagulin Road for Post-Typhoon Clearing Operations

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) successfully conducted today, July 31, 2024, its clearing operations along the stretch of San Fernando-Bagulin Road, which had been severely impacted by onslaught of Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon in the past week.

The swift and coordinated La Union PROBINSYAnihan of the PGLU and Local Government Units of San Fernando and Bagulin ensured the removal of debris and eroded soil resulting to restoration of local transportation.

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David emphasized the importance of such prompt action in mitigating the impact of natural disasters not just in the lives of the people but also to the infrastructures in the province.
