PESO-LU Spearheads Application Training for LGU PESOs

For La Union Public Employment Service Offices to be more innovative in communication engagements, Labor & Employment Officer II, Rowell B. Timoteo and Resource Speaker, Information System Analyst I Terosha I. Ballesteros of the Provincial Government of La Union – Information Communication Technology Unit, give a brief introduction about the Zoom Application Training for Local Government Unit – Public Employment Service Offices on December 11, 2020 at 2/F LUPAC Bldg, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and in partnership with the Information Communications and Technology Unit (ICTU), conducted a Capability Skills Training – Zoom Application Training for Local Government Unit-Public Employment Service Offices (LGU-PESOs) on December 11, 2020 at 2/F LUPAC Bldg., City of San Fernando, La Union.

The training was facilitated by Information Systems Analyst I Terosha I. Ballesteros, and Computer Programmer I Dexter R. Florendo of the ICTU. The resource speakers discussed about the systematic guide of the interactivity and engagement using the Zoom application for the conduct of video conferencing in activities such as trainings, seminars or meetings.

After the discussion the resource speakers hosted a live demo meeting for the participants to experience the multiple functions of the zoom application in conducting interactive team meetings.

The Zoom Application Training will help the PESO Managers and staff adopt a more innovative approach in conducting remote communication engagement for meetings and seminars, which is more convenient and cost-effective in this time of CoViD-19 pandemic where face-to-face group meetings are limited.
