Alinsunod sa kahilingan ni Gov Francisco Emmanuel β€œPacoy” Ortega III, iniutos ni La Union Police Provincial Director PCOL Jonathan Calixto ang deployment ng karagdagang personnel simula ngayong araw, ika-1 ng Oktubre, 2021sa ibat-ibang bayan. PESO CONDUCTS 2ND LA UNION VIRTUAL JOBS FAIR

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Public Employment Service Office in partnership with the Information Communications and Technology Unit conducted the 2nd La Union Virtual Jobs Fair on September 29 and 30, 2021 via video conferencing to continue providing employment opportunities to kaprobinsiaan amidst the pandemic.

Local Jobs available were cashier, kitchen staff, information technology personnel, visual artist, clerical staff, audit staff, area operation specialist, field staff, staff pharmacist, medical technologist, and radiologic technologist. There were four employers that participated for local employment and 57 registered jobseekers were interviewed. Employers will give updates to applicants for the job-placement result.

The 2nd La Union Virtual Jobs Fair is a continuing employment facilitation strategy of the PGLU to connect job seekers and employment recruitment agencies in a virtual recruitment platform at a specific date to reduce cost, time and effort particularly in the part of applicants. This program of the PGLU is open to all unemployed, skilled and unskilled workers, college graduates, graduates of training institutions, displaced workers seeking employment during this CoViD-19 crisis.
