BLDH conducts Fire, Earthquake, Chemical Spill Drill

In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A declaring March as Fire Prevention Month, Balaoan District Hospital conducts Fire, Earthquake and Chemical Spill Drill on March 31, 2022. Before the actual drill, a lecture was conducted by the Emergency Preparedness Committee reiterating important rules in Fire and Chemical Spill, Earthquakes and Hospital Emergency Situations. All employees participated in the said activity to ensure that they would be more confident in their ability to handle an emergency situation and save lives.

𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲; 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱

With the continuous upholding of safety and security in the Province of La Union, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Council convened on March 30, 2022 at the La Union Peace, Order and Safety – Emergency Operations Center, City of San Fernando, La Union to ensure alignment in the operations of the province and attached agencies and local government units (LGUs).

𝗡𝗗𝗛 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲, 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹

As part of the celebration of Naguilian District Hospital’s (NDH) 50th Anniversary, and of Fire prevention month, the staff underwent fire and earthquake drill last March 30, 2022. The Naguilian La Union Bureau of Fire Prevention (BFP) under the supervision of SINSP Jeferson G. Hidalgo, together with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) headed by Mr. Mark Anthony Dilodilo, conducted the said drill to equip NDH employees with practical survival skills whenever fire outbreaks or earthquake occurs in the area. Patients at the Out-Patient Department were also asked to participate in the said drills.

𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝟯𝟬𝗳𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

A 30-feet fiber reinforced plastic patrol boat was awarded to the Provincial Government of La Union on March 30, 2022 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – North La Union Campus (DMMMSU – NLUC) – Fisheries Research Training Institute (FRTI), Brgy. Paraoir, Balaoan, La Union. The said patrol boat was the output from the 9-day training on patrol boat making facilitated by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs – US Department of State and DMMMSU-NLUC.

𝗚𝗼𝘃. 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲

Out of 81 Provincial Local Chief Executives across the country, Gov. Pacoy was hailed as 3rd most performing based on the survey conducted by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. last June 10 – 25, 2021. 1st was Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia with 77 percent approval rating followed by Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor of Iloilo Province with 72 percent, and Gov. Pacoy with 70 percent.
