Upholding its commitment to provide educational assistance to the underprivileged but deserving students in the province, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) conducted on May 31, 2022 an online orientation to their existing qualified scholars under the La Union Education Assistance and Scholarship Program (LUEASP).

To expand government services and improve first time jobseekers access to employment, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in collaboration with the Don Mariano Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Trabaho Center, successfully conducted an Online Province-wide Career and Employment Coaching dubbed “Ready na Ako for Work” for 827 college graduating students from different schools, colleges, universities in the Province of La Union on May 31, 2022.

To cap the 2022 National Heritage Month (NHM) celebration, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office – Culture and the Arts Unit commemorated the 79th death anniversary of Don Joaquin J. Ortega on May 31, 2022 at the Provincial Disaster and Risk-Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) Training Hall, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Matapos ideklara ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) ang pagsisimula ng panahon ng tag-ulan sa bansa, mahigpit na pinag-iingat ng Provincial Health Office (PHO) ang mga residente sa La Union laban sa mga sakit na maaaring makuha ngayong tag-ulan.
