Ensuring the implementation of enacted ordinances in the Province, the Committee on Ways and Means chaired by Board Member Victor I. Rivera conducted a Legislative Consultation with the members of the Local Finance Committee (LFC) on July 21, 2022 as an initiative of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to ensure that the SP members are all aware of the execution of the current programs, projects, and activities that the province is currently conducting in connection with the realm of the said Committee and the possible legislative needs of its partner departments that may be incorporated in the making of the Executive and Legislative Agenda.

In line with Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David’s P.U.S.O. Agenda in providing Universal Access to Basic Needs including Medical and Health Services, Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) Public Health Unit headed by Dr. Zenserly D. Pagaduan convened with the Local Chief Executives (LCE) and Municipal Health Officers (MHO) of Bacnotan, San Juan and San Gabriel on July 21-22, 2022.

Gov. Rafy Aims for Disaster Resilient Province: Empowers Provincial and Local DRRMO

Following Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David’s P.U.S.O. Agenda on the Orderly, Sustainable, and Resilient Component LGUs and Barangays, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) together with all the Local DRRM Officers from the 20 component Local Government Units (LGU) of the La Union, convened for a courtesy call and meeting with the lady governor on July 19, 2022 at the La Union Peace, Order and Safety (LUPOS) Emergency Operation Center Building.
