In a remarkable display of La Union PROBINSYAnihan and environmental commitment, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), Local Government of Luna, and the Philippines Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) joined forces to enrich mangrove areas in Pitpitac, Luna, La Union. This collaborative effort took place on June 24, 2023, as part of the PGLU’s Mangrove Development Program under the #KalikasanNaman Campaign.

In a joint effort to uphold tourism standards and provide the best possible experience for tourists, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through La Union Provincial Tourism Office collaborated with the Department of Tourism — Regional Office 1 (DOT – ROI) to organize a provincewide Mobile Accreditation Caravan. Held from June 19 to 23, 2023, the initiative aimed to ensure compliance with DOT standards among tourism stakeholders.

The focus of the meeting was the implementation of the Dairy Cattle Program with discussions centering around the provision of 50 dairy cattle to the municipalities of Bangar and Aringay.
