In line with the provinceโ€™s hosting of the 2025 Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA), the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โ€œRafyโ€ Ortega-David, has taken steps to ensure financial support for student-athletes by securing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the La Union Schools Division Office (LUSDO) and Department of Education (DepEd) Region I, ensuring adequate funding for the event that will be held on March 10-15, 2025.
