OPVet Participates in Animal Disease Monitoring and Surveillance

Dr. Raquel P. Difuntorum and Dr. Romuelda C. Mañgaser of the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian collect blood samples in 99 free-range chickens in Brgy. Bucayab and Brgy. Cabalayangan, Bauang, La Union on May 21, 2019. This is for the routine laboratory test for Newcastle Disease and Salmonella Pollurum as part of animal disease monitoring and surveillance. Joining them are Veterinarians and staff from the Department of Agriculture - Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (DA-RADDL1) and Municipal Agriculture Office.
