Local and foreign tourists, residents, and volunteers came to assist and witness the release of hatchlings from the nest to the sea. Usually the survival rate of turtle hatchlings from the nest to the sea is 1% but with the help of CURMA and volunteers that oversee and help in the release of turtle hatchlings, the survival rate of the hatchlings increases.
