To deliver high-quality medical services to every Kaprobinsiaan, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) upgraded Naguilian District Hospital (NDH) Obstetrics-Gynecology (OB) Ward facility. Hospital Chief Dr. Eduardo Posadas led the opening ceremony on September 10, 2021. Rev. Fr. Albert C. Feliciano of Saint Augustine Parish Church led the prayer service and blessing.

Said facility was improved to support the government's thrust to strengthen quality healthcare services embodying the NDH Values C.A.R.E.S (Compassionate, Accountable, Responsible and Efficient Service). It caters to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is located beside the Nurses Station.

The newly-improved facility is all about serving OB patients better. The OB Ward was arranged in accordance with DOH Policies for COVID19.

The PGLU under the leadership of Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III is committed to upgrading health facilities to cater to the needs of Kaprobinsiaan, especially in these trying times.
