NDH VALIDATES CDH’S IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ISO 9001:2015 INTERNAL AUDIT. Caba District Hospital (CDH) Administrative Assistant Mrs. Jedidia S. The said activity was part of the five-day internal audit of the La Union District Hospitals namely. ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit demonstrates compliance with QMS and how the processes are implemented and maintained.
Naguilian District Hospital (NDH) Internal Auditors validated the implementation of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System of Caba District Hospital (CDH) on August 22, 2019 at CDH, Poblacion Sur, Caba, La Union.
NDH Internal Auditors assessed the awareness of the CDH staff on quality policy, quality objectives, and quality management procedures. The internal auditors also evaluated the implementation of the registered forms and other documentary attachments.
NDH’s Team Leader and Chief of Hospital Dr. Eleonor Dacanay discussed the detailed audit plan and other reminders on the internal audit process.
During the closing meeting, internal auditors presented and discussed the good points, opportunities for improvement and the non-conformances found during their audit.
The said activity was part of the five-day Internal Audit of the La Union District Hospitals scheduled on August 19-23, 2019.
ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit demonstrates compliance with QMS and how the processes are implemented and maintained. It aims to ensure the compliance to the requirements of internal and international standards and regulation; the effectiveness of the implemented system in meeting objectives; the compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements and to provide feedback to the Provincial Governor.
All five District Hospitals are BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Accredited issued by National Quality Assurance (NQA) on November 15, 2017 valid until November 15, 2020. The certification is applicable for the provision of Health Care Services including Inpatient, Out-patient, emergency, diagnostics and Laboratory.
