LU Teachers Trained on Iloko Module Preparation

In celebration of the 62nd Public Library Day, the Provincial Government of La Union through the La Union Provincial Library conducted a Seminar on Iloko Module Crafting to selected Grade School Teachers of the First District of La Union today, March 9, 2021 at the Provincial Library, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Addressing the challenges of the new normal for educators, the program focused on training teacher-participants in the preparation of Iloko Modules including writing, categorization and a workshop.
The program, which aimed to bridge the gap in teaching mother tongue to students with the current adoption of modular learning, was conducted in coordination with the Gunglo dagiti Mannurat ti Iloko - La Union and the Department of Education - La Union Schools Division.
Public Library Day is celebrated on March 9 of every year by virtue of Proclamation No. 562, s. 1959. Minimum health standards were observed in the conduct of the activity.
