LU Pokémon Trainers Score Victory at Pokémon UNITE World Championships 2023

Dominating the realm of the Pokémon world, the Philippine Team OMO Abyssinian, with two members coming from La Union, faced intense battles as they vie for the Pokémon Unite World Championship 2023 in Yokohama, Japan on Aug. 11-13, 2023.

Joshua De Leon and Luis John Felizarte, pokemon masters from Bacnotan and Santo Tomas respectively, celebrated with their team as they won Silver trophies during the event. Pitting against other pokemon masters from across the globe, the team's exceptional game strategy pushed them to attain this impressive victory.

The Provincial Government of La Union, led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David, sees this victory not only as a way of celebrating the prowess of our Kaprobinsiaan but also highlights the growing recognition of E-Sports in our province.
