LU Employs Systematic Mining

To ensure systematic mining in the Province of La Union, a multi-partite monitoring team composed of representatives from the Office of the Provincial Governor - Environment and Natural Resources Unit; Mines and Geosciences Bureau and a non-government organization conduct monitoring of the operations sand and gravel quarrying area in Bangar, La Union on August 19, 2019. A total of 40 commercial sand and gravel permit holders from Aringay, Bauang, Bagulin, San Juan, Bangar, Sudipen and Luna were monitored in the month of August.
