LSWDOs Conducts Consultative Meeting

The Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs) of La Union through the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (OPSWDO) Mr. Ranilo P. Ipac, conducted its first consultative meeting for 2021 on January 29, 2021 at the La Union Bahay Pag-Asa Multipurpose Hall, Barangay Sta. Rita, Bacnotan, La Union.
During the meeting, the LSWDOs had an orientation on the Manual of Operation for the Bahay Pag-Asa by Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council Head secretariat Ms. Jocelyn P. Mariano, followed by site visitation in the facility.
In the afternoon, the group had site visitation at the Home for the Elderly located at Barangay Ili Norte, San Juan, La Union. The Bahay Pag-Asa will soon cater to Children in Conflict with the Law while the Home for the Elderly will cater to indigent Older Persons with no family member to take care of them. Both facilities will be managed by the PSWDO.
