Local Products Showcased in 171st La Union Anniversary

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Local Economic Enterprise and Investment Promotion Unit (LEEIPU) kickstarts a two-day Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Bazaar in front of the La Union Agri-tourism Center today, February 26, 2021.

The initiative is a part of the celebration of the 171st La Union Foundation Anniversary. The PGLU is steadfast in its commitment to be of service to the local MSMEs through sustainable programs that will minimize the negative impact of the pandemic and bolster economic recovery and development.

This event serves as a platform for local MSMEs to promote and market their products. There are 16 MSMEs participating in the Bazaar including Sagat Crust Food House, Uncle Tom Food Product, Nacionales Bibingka and Food Products, Gerry’s Shawarma, Honeydukes Creamery, Gem’s Empanada, Ice Tea Rue Restaurant, Oh Lollicup, Mama Ti-en’s Smoked Fish, Aroo Restaurant, Growling Tummies and MMM Goodies for food items; and Zynergia Health and Wellness, Taboc Mannamili Association, Krieytib Enterprises and RP Lucina Loom Weaving for dry goods.

The Bazaar is open to the general public and minimum health standards are strictly implemented during in the bazaar.

The LEEIPU continues to be in coordination with the local business industry to provide them with immediate assistance amidst the pandemic.
