Liga ng mga Barangay La Union Officers, BODs take Oath; Elects Ram Ortega as President

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David administers the Oath of Office of the newly-elected Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) - La Union Chapter Officers and Board of Directors at the ABC Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union on January 12, 2024. Taking oath as Liga ng mga Barangay President is Ramon Guio A. Ortega, Jr. of Barangay IV, City of San Fernando who will consequently be an Ex-officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Other LnB officers who also took oath were Vice President Lolita S. Garcia of Tubao; Auditor Joel B. Abril of Rosario; and Board of Directors Lorma Sibuma of Aringay, Erwin Castro of Agoo, Mario R. Directo of Santol, Jofre F. Hipol of Naguilian, Reynaldo C. Carbonell of Santo Tomas, Rufino Lito L. Fontanilla II of Bacnotan, Edgar Beninsig of Bauang, and Dennis Comedis of Burgos.
In her message, Gov. Rafy expressed her warm congratulations to all the elected officials and highlighted the importance of unity in local governance encompassed in the call for #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan. She also expressed the full support of the Provincial Government of La Union to all barangays as she continues to bring the services of the Provincial Government closer to all KaPROBINSYAnihan.
