LANGUAGE EMPOWERMENT FOR A STRONGER LA UNION. In line with the celebration of the 30th Library and Information Services Month, the La Union Provincial Library led by Provincial Librarian Marissa Acosta conducted a seminar-workshop on Ilocano-based Learning Module Development to 20 elementary school teachers, on November 18, 2020, at the Provincial Library, City of San Fernando, La Union. The activity aimed to capacitate the educators in using the mother tongue in developing learning modules in the context of blended learning scheme of the Department of Education. In partnership with the Gunglo Dagiti Mannurat ti Iloko (GUMIL) - City of San Fernando, the workshop was led by GUMIL-CSF President Djuna Alcantara as the learning service provider, and Dr. Edilberto Angco as the facilitator.
