La Union Environmental Management Coordinators Meets

Environmental Management Coordinators (EMC) of La Union convene on May 21, 2021 via video conferencing to present their accomplishment reports on solid waste management, forest resources and services management, and participation on environmental calendar of activities of the component local government units and the Provincial Government - Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO).

The said meeting was presided by Senior Environmental Management Specialist EnP. Shereal M. Catbagan of PG-ENRO. Science Research Specialist Engr. Joven Barcelo of the Department of Science and Technology - Central Office was invited to serve as resource speaker on Waste Analysis and Characterization Study. The team from Smart-GreenTec Phils also presented their company technology on waste-to-energy headed by Mr. Voltair Arroyo, Director of Smart-GreenTec Phils.
